We mow somewhere around 200 – 300 hectares of bracken each year with our Major MJ2000 Flail Collector. The machine is good, it’s very easy to use. The tipping function is very simple. It’s just a pull of one lever to tip and reverse of the function to set everything back into working motion. The system for lifting the flails out of contact with the ground for transportation is again very simple. It’s got good capacity. We’ve managed to pick up a fair amount of material before we have to empty it.
