We are delighted to announce the expansion of our award winning Cyclone Mower range with the launch of three new models in 2.8m, 4.2m and 5.6m working widths. The Major Cyclone Mower bridges the gap between the grass topper and flail mower and requires a fraction of the power and fuel that a flail mower would consume.
These new models will be launched at this year’s Ploughing Championships and join the 2.0m, 2.5m, 3.0m and 3.5m models already in production. The MJ30-280 is a 2.8m four rotor machine and is ideal for farmers needing a mower for everyday pasture management and for tackling heavier work as it arises.
The MJ30-420 and MJ30-560 models have 6 and 8 rotors respectively. The wings on both mowers fold to give a neat 2.5m transport width. In addition to grass topping, these wide area mowers are ideal for the clearance of arable stubble, maize and rapeseed crops with a significantly reduced HP requirement than a similar sized flail mower.
The patented ‘blender’ blade system on the Major Cyclone Mower double chops the cut material, handling everyday grass topping and mulching of heavier material with ease. An optional side shift unit is available which allows the operator to adjust the mower 30cm to the left and right.
