GAA and sports clubs now able to finance Major equipment for winning pitches

New financing package through First Citizen Finance for as little as 99/month

Major Equipment Intl. Ltd. and First Citizen Agri Finance jointly announce special equipment financing options for GAA clubs, golf courses, rugby clubs and other sports-related associations in Ireland. For as little as €99/month, clubs can own a Major Swift Roller Mower or Synergy Mowing Deck for the maintenance of pitches and sports grounds throughout the year.

With tremendous growth and visibility of club activities around Ireland, club committees and associations are under pressure to maintain pristine and safe playing fields. Groundskeepers have limited budgets and manpower to keep fields in perfect playing condition, so the machines they invest in must be reliable and do a solid job.

“We understand the pressure that clubs are under to deliver professional level playing pitches but with limited resources,” says Martin Walsh, Sales Manager at Major Equipment Intl. “This new programme is a viable option for clubs to improve their facilities and uplift local pride with access to funds that are otherwise unavailable to them.”

“Sports clubs come in various shapes and sizes so not everyone will be able to access the same avenues to financing,” says Pat O Neill, Sales Manager, First Citizen Agri Finance. “Our familiarity working with enterprises and businesses around rural Ireland is an advantage for clubs and sports facilities looking for a quick decision, competitive rates and simple processes.”

The financing programme works in tandem with any grants or funding schemes available to sports groups. Deposits as little as €175 can be applied towards a qualifying Major mower. On the Major Synergy Mowers a minimum allowance of €1500 is guaranteed on scrappage or trade-ins.
