The Welsh Government Small Grants – Efficiency scheme supports capital investments in equipment and technology that offer clear and quantifiable benefits to your farm business. The capital items have been specified, along with a referenced cost for each item.
The grant provides a maximum 40% contribution towards capital investments in equipment and machinery (excluding VAT) with maximum grant award of £15,000.
MAJOR offers low emissions slurry application systems which qualify under the capital scheme.
Trailing Shoe
The MAJOR Trailing Shoe sits close to the rear of the tanker for better weight distribution. Slurry enters the macerator through 4” Bauer coupling and flows through 40mm outlets. The macerator is fitted with an integrated foreign body separate to prevent debris from blocking the outlets.

Dribble Bar
The MAJOR Dribble Bar is designed to deposit slurry to the soil surface as accurately as possible, while minimising grass contamination and ammonia emissions. Outlets are spaced 250mm apart for even and precise distribution of slurry in long and short grass.
