Major Dribble Bar
This unit has 30 outlets spaced 260mm apart for even and precise distribution of liquid material in long and short grass. The dribble bar lighter and has no drag. It is suitable for use in long and short grass.
Major Trailing Shoe
The high tensile springs use the high carbon steel coulters to split the grass – allowing the slurry to run on the ground. The spring steel bars on the frame allow the outlets to follow the ground contours. There are 30 x 40mm outlets.
THE SMALL GRANT EFFICIENCY SCHEME
The Welsh Government has worked with farming unions and other partners to develop a list of capital items with standardised specifications and costs. The proposed items offer applicants the opportunity to achieve a step-change in their business performance.
The deadline for expression of interest is 29 June 2022 and can be made using the Grants Claim page on your RPW Online account. The maximum grant award is £12,000 and the minimum is £1,000. The grant provides a maximum 40% contribution towards capital investments in equipment and machinery (excluding VAT), which can be demonstrated as offering clear and quantifiable benefits to farm businesses.
