MAJOR Road Blaster Dust Suppression Tanker for Oliver Conroy Contracting, Co. Westmeath
MAJOR recently designed and manufactured a Road Blaster for Oliver Conroy Contracting.Oliver and his team are contacted by the international construction firm Ascon to keep all the new roads clean and dust free during construction.
The MAJOR Road Blaster combines three products to provide highly efficient one pass cleaning and sweeping, removing the most difficult compacted mud and gravel.
Highpowered water jets are delivered from the ‘Blaster Bar’ by a centrifugal pump that feeds a series of nozzles that create the perfect spray for road power washing without flooding.
Cleverly designed, the water jet can be directed to either side forcing the compacted gravel, sand or mud into the gutter. Hydraulic height adjustment allows for close contact with the road for maximum impact.
The new MAJOR Road Blaster has a wide range of features that include full road lighting kit, quick coupling connector for fast refilling and 7'' brakes with an Air/Hydraulic option.
The MAJOR Water Spinner Dust Suppressor is fitted to the rear of the tanker, which atomises and fans the water droplets outward creating a fine mist which spreads evenly behind the tanker keeping road dust down.
The MAJOR 8000 Road Sweeper completes the trio of innovative products. Located on a four point linkage on the rear of the tanker, the sweeper can be swivelled 30 degrees from left to right, pushing the debris to the desired side.
This patented floating brush system is aided by an active suspension system which independently follows the ground contour to ensure a clean sweep at all times
