Major Equipment expands its CS Pro class of mowers with the 3.0m model (MJ65-300)
The CS Pro is a multi-purpose mower for compact tractors in the 30hp to 50hp range. The patented mulching blade system delivers an exceptional finish in everyday mowing and jobs requiring a superior after cut appearance. Heavy duty gearboxes power multiple rotors for reliable mowing in a variety of conditions. This blade system achieves consistent results in dense vegetation, heavy scrub, hedgerow undergrowth as well as estate lawns and sports turf.
A major advantage of the gearbox driveline is the low maintenance and ease of operation. With fewer wearing parts than a flail mower, owners can save significantly on maintenance costs and operating downtimes over the lifetime of the machine. Made of high performance Strenx ™ 700 MC structural steel and galvanised, the CS Pro is a premium mower delivering a high return for the investment.
The MJ65-300 is a 3.0m wide machine with two wings folding up to 2.0m transport width. Two rotors are fixed to the centre deck with one rotor on each wing. Four blades per rotor, for a total of 16 blades, deliver intense shredding in light and heavy material. High blade-tip speeds of 80m/s ensure the cleanest cut possible. This combination ensures all material is finely cut and evenly dispersed leaving no windrows.
Full width rollers on each deck follows ground contours while producing a striped effect without scalping. Cutting height is easily set between 15 and 100mm.
The 3m CS Pro takes as little as 30hp to power, giving the subcompact or smaller utility tractor more capability than before. The CS Pro is available in 1.50m, 2.10m and 3.0m widths. The 2.10m model is available as a front-mounted mower only.
